I love riding my bike because it is a great way to get some fresh air while seeing some beautiful local scenery and explore new territory at a fun pace which means that I get to see more of it. I also get to feel like I am one with the road on my road bike and then the woods on my mountain bike. When it comes to racing it is all about the fun of challenging your self and excitement of racing neck and neck with your friends and others who share the same passion.
The awesome benefits about being on the Hagerty cycling team is about making a whole lot of new friends who love to ride and race their bikes. It really also just turns into a big new family/community who is always there to help you out as well. What is really unique about the Hagerty team is that the team encompasses a large age range and ability levels where the veterans can help you out and you are there to help out the people who are new or rising up the ranks from the junior development team.
My biggest accomplishment on the Hagerty cycling team so far was the first year on the team when I got third place in the CAT 5 criterium state championships. which was a last minute decision to go down and race.
I am a big car guy off of the bike for both hobby and as work where I am a technician at a local dealership. I am a huge Rally and Subaru fan in which I have traveled all the way to Norway and Sweden to watch one of the rounds of the World Rally Championship with some of the drivers in the world.
