What do I love about racing and riding? I like the fact that you can ride everywhere you go, and you see the world from a different perspective, every time! One of the main things I like is that I am always challenging myself to be a better rider, testing my limits and seeing where I can improve for the next race! The planet looks different from a bike or a pair of skis than it does from a car or an airplane.
I am new to the Hagerty family this year, but I can say without a doubt that I wouldn’t want to ride for anyone else! The minute you put the Hagerty kit on, you become a part of the family, everyone seems to work together for the cause of the sport and the community!
As much as I enjoy riding my bikes, there are many other aspects of life that I like to take in. Growing up I was taught that it is better to be well rounded and know a little bit about everything, which is what makes me not scared to always try something new and with an open mind. In my spare time I enjoy refinishing old furniture, running, hiking, camping, skiing and being a girl (going shopping). I am very lucky to have found my career that I am extremely passionate about by age 25, I am a National Account Coordinator for a company called Gemba Marketing. It’s one of those big city jobs, in my favorite small town; working with national and international brands to advertise their product/service to the right demographics.
You will rarely find me sitting still because when I am not working, running, or biking I am either downhill ski coaching, or planning for the next Conquer The Village Mountain Bike Race. I ski raced from age 5-18 and now I coach in Austria every fall and at Hickory Hills during the rest of the season.
If you can’t already tell, I love life and everything that it has to offer, I truly believe that the purpose of life is to live it and where you invest your time, you are investing your life. What better place to invest your life than with family, friends and on the bike! I enjoy challenging myself and setting new goals, because I’ve learned that being strong, especially as a woman- is empowering!
I’m looking forward to an awesome season of races and getting to know everyone on the team!
