I saved up enough money to buy a road bike in 1984 and have been hooked on racing ever since. I love riding in the spring/summer/fall and cross-country ski racing in the winter. My day job is an attorney specializing in environmental, land use, real estate and municipal law.
I’ve raced with the Hagerty team since its inception, where we were affectionately called the “bad news bears of cycling.” I have enjoyed the team’s race support, but place the highest value on the comradery and friendships that I’ve developed while racing with my teammates.

2. Vasa 27k Classic 2/14 1st overall
3. Birkie 55k classic 2/21 103 overall, 14th age group
4. Mud Sweat & Beers 5/2 15th in age group
5. Benzie Bike Fondo 6/6 Team competition
6. Gratten 7/15 28th in B race
7. Cherry Roubaix 8/16 31st in 55 mile race
8. X-100 8/29 8th team (with TJ and Todd Vigland)
9. Iceman 11/7 7th in age group
