I love what I get from riding, the freedom, comaraderie, going fast, winning(though I haven't exactly won much) Being on a team with people of the same interests, and being able to train with them, it will make you faster and have instant friends. You learn a lot from your teammates.
I recently relocated to Northville for a job opportunity at Ford Motor Co.where I coordinate protype builds for testing. I always wear my Hagerty kit when I train and do group rides.Everyone knows Hagerty. it is always fun riding the Wednesday women's ride- we all have a good time-we are not there to race but to be more social with women off all abilities. it is a great way to introduce cycling to women who may have never ridden in a group before. I am mainly a road racer but have taken up mtn biking and more as there are trails nearby, also lots of gravel training rides with new friends. I want to cross race in the near future also. My biggest accomplishment is when came in third in the omnium at the Tour de Mtn Pleasant (TT, road, and crit)- I won money and trophies- Criteriums are a blast and hope to do more next year-this is where teamwork really works. I am proud to represent Hagerty at all the events I attend.
I also love gardening, spending time with loved ones, and my cats.
