I'm entering my second year of racing for Hagerty, and I have to say I've come a long way from that girl who knew absolutely nothing about bike racing. I've always loved going fast, and I'm a super competitive person, so translating that into training, strategy, and racing has been a fun challenge.
The team has been such a great resource for a person like me, from having company on training rides, racing alongside teammates, and learning the ins and outs of racing to win. I've especially appreciated having such a strong women's team to ride with. My first crit win is definitely a stand-out moment for me; all those hours of training and learning finally paid off! Aside from riding, I've always loved anything outdoors, eating delicious food, and enjoying the company of good people. I'm also part of a graphic art production team at a national company that's based locally.
